I started smoking when I was a teenager. My friends smoke. My partner smokes. I knew it wasn’t just me that needed to change.

What Worked for Cristabel

I tried a lot of different things to quit smoking. In the end, I found I really needed the support of other women and it wasn’t just about discipline and willpower and telling myself how bad smoking is. I found a quit-smoking support group—I had no idea they existed! Being able to talk to other women who knew how hard it was to quit really helped. They reminded me of all the changes I was making and all the things I was succeeding in.
